This Privacy Statement (“Statement”) describes our practices in connection with information privacy on personal data we process through your individual use of the following services, products, and related mobile applications (collectively, the “Products”).Before using any of Alexa Skills (“our skills”), please read this policy and Alexa Skills Terms of Use, as well as the Alexa Terms of Use and the Privacy Policies by the Amazon Digital Services LLC (with its affiliates, “Amazon”).
Regarding Amazon, “Alexa” means their Alexa Voice Service which includes third party services (like our skills) and other related Software.
If you use one of our skills you fully agree to this privacy policy.
When you use our skills you have to talk to Alexa. This voice input is sent to Amazon and us where we use it to understand what our skill should do for you. This is absolutely necessary for our service to give you an appropriate answer.
We never collect or share personal data with our skills.
To improve our services, we analyze automatically how often utterances are spoken and other analytics. This is done automatically by Amazon in the Amazon Developer Portal. For some of our skills it is necessary to save data for you in our databases. This data is only connected to your Alexa-UserId but never to your name or any other personal information.
Our skills or parts of it may change or be updated at any time. Further, this Privacy Policy might change. You can find a link to this policy on the description page of the skill in the Amazon Alexa. Your continued use of our skill after changes of the Privacy Policy or the skill itself will be seen as your acceptance of both.
In order to provide you with our services, we will ask you to provide the personal information necessary for such services. If you do not provide personal information, we may not be able to provide you with our products or services.
Account or user profile data: When you register our account, we may collect some of your information, such as your email address, phone number, and user name. During your interaction with our products, we may further collect the nickname, avatar, country code, language preference or time zone information in your account.
Feedback: When you use the feedback and suggestion functions in our products, we will collect your email address, mobile phone number and feedback content in order to deal with your problems and equipment failures in a timely manner.
Microphone permission: We need to use your microphone permission to provide voice input services. The microphone permission is a necessary permission to use "Alexa". If you turn off this permission, you will not be able to use "Alexa".
Device information: When you interact with our products, we will automatically collect device information, such as the device's MAC address, IP address, wireless connection information, operating system type and version, application version number, push notification identifier, log Documents and mobile network information.
Usage data: During your interaction with our website and services, we will automatically collect usage data related to visits, clicks, downloads, sending/receiving messages and other usage of our website and services.
Log information: When you use our app, application logs and exception stacks may be uploaded.
Location information: We only collect information about your real-time precise or inaccurate geographic location when you use our specific products or services (such as weather services).
Basic information of smart devices: When you use a smart device connected to our service, we may collect some basic information of the smart device, including device name, device ID, online status, activation time, firmware version, and upgrade information.
Smart device report information: When you use our products, we may collect the information reported by your device. For example, a smart scale may report your height, weight, body fat content (BFM), body mass index (BMI), and skeletal muscle content (SMM), and a smart camera may collect images or videos it captures.
You have control over your voice recordings in the Alexa app or at Alexa Privacy Settings. You can view, hear, or delete your voice recordings one by one, all at once, or have them automatically deleted on an ongoing basis. You can also choose not to have your voice recordings saved.
When you use a third-party skill, we don’t share any personally identifiable information with that third party without your agreement. For example, a restaurant booking skill might ask for your email address to send you confirmation of your reservation; we would only share that information with your permission. We will exchange information related to your request with the skill developer so they can respond accordingly – for instance, your answers when you play a trivia skill. You can see and manage the skills that you have granted permission to access specific data.
Alexa receives information about the status and use of your smart home devices, like the state of your connected switches (on/off) and thermostats (set temperature). You can review the device state history for the last 30 days by visiting Review Smart Home Device History. You can also request your entire Alexa smart home history and insights, delete this third-party smart home device status history at any time, or choose to have your smart home device status history older than 3 or 18 months deleted automatically by visiting Manage Your Alexa Data.
Alexa is designed to get smarter every day. Training Alexa with recordings from a diverse range of customers helps ensure Alexa works well for everyone. An extremely small fraction of voice recordings are manually reviewed to improve Amazon services and develop new features. If you would like to control how you help improve Alexa, visit Alexa Privacy Settings or the Alexa app (Settings > Alexa Privacy > Manage Your Alexa Data). If you turn this setting off, voice recognition and new features may not work well for you.
Some functions of this application are provided by third parties. When you use these functions, you may be redirected to third-party applications or websites. We strongly recommend that you carefully read the third party's terms of service and privacy policy, because we cannot control third-party applications or websites; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Tiancheng United Group does not assume any responsibility for the third party's damage to your rights.
We take commercially reasonable physical, management and technical safeguards to maintain the integrity and security of your personal information. Tiancheng United provides a variety of security strategies to effectively ensure the security of user and device data. In terms of device access, we use Tiancheng joint proprietary algorithms to ensure data isolation, access authentication and authorization applications. In terms of data communication, it supports the use of security algorithms and transmission encryption protocols as well as commercial-level information encryption transmission based on dynamic keys for communication. In terms of data processing, strict data filtering and verification and a complete data audit process are adopted. In terms of data storage, all confidential information of users will be securely encrypted for storage. We will process your personal data within the shortest period of time for the purpose stated in the privacy statement, unless it is required to retain it for a longer period of time according to specific legal requirements. We will determine the appropriate retention period based on the amount, nature and sensitivity of the personal data. After the retention period ends, we will destroy your personal data. If we are unable to perform the above operations for technical reasons, we will take appropriate measures to prevent further use of your personal data.
